Deposit Policy                                                           1/7/07

• If cash or cheque is used as a deposit it must be received within 48 hours of the booking being made, or such later time as the property agrees on.
• If a credit card number is used the guest must provide
• The full card number
• The name on the card
• The 3 digit CVV security number from the back of the card (Mastercard, Visa, Bankcard, Diners) or the 4 digit number printed on the front of Amex cards
• Under normal circumstances the card would not be charged until the day of the stay.
• The credit card number may be checked to ensure validity, and a pre-authorisation may be obtained up to 48 hours prior to arrival.
• At 6.00pm on day of stay the property may charge the card the full amount of the first nights stay if the guest has not yet arrived.
• If the guest has not cancelled the booking and fails to arrive, the property should send a copy of the receipt the next day (if an address is available) and/or phone the guest to advise of the charge.

‘Heathcote Country Lodge’ will accept a cancellation up to 2pm 28 days prior  to the day of arrival, without charging the 1st nights tariff.
