‘The Lodge’ has had a revamp in the swimming pool area, with alfresco dining under the pergola and plenty of room to relax on the paved/lawn.

‘Melbourne Cup Day’ we had a fun day to support our local, cancer survivor Sandra Slatter. She and others have just completed walking the 'Camino Way Pilgrimage' in North of Spain.

We all shared a laugh and celebrated the ‘Heathcote Cup’ at the same time.........

It was a day to remember.

Oh My, how time flies.

The craft and scrapbooking groups have been arriving for their annual Creative Craft Workshop Retreats, and business seminars have been happening frequently during the year .

You may consider your company seminar/conference for a small group here next year. After the business segment we also have a beautiful golf course close by.

The well furnished 60 sq. mt. creative craft workroom/conference room is being used constantly, and many groups have enjoyed the Country Style Catering - home cooked soup, casseroles, roasts, lemon meringue pie, apple pie, and plenty more too.

We prepare ‘The Lodge’ individually for each group, and as you have seen, will even provide meals, so that your project or seminar is uninterrupted.

You know Heathcote has a beautiful climate, just a little warmer in the summer, North of the Divide, and autumn is just delightful. The recent rain has transformed the country side into magnificent grassy green paddocks.

Gather your friends and family, and experience this most unique venue yourself. I know you will not be disappointed. Many groups book again for next year.

Did I tell you??? The first Saturday of the month is Bush Market day in the center of Heathcote.

We suggest you move into ‘The Lodge’ Friday night, visit the market next morning, enjoy a cappuccino at one of our local Café’s and lunch at the Lion’s Club BBQ, then perhaps a relaxing afternoon tasting some local wines.

I can help you plan a winery tour without travelling too far. You must have heard about our local Shiraz.

If that sounds a bit tame, try a game of golf on the popular Heathcote Golf Course, or bring your bikes and explore the many surrounding country roads and bush tracks.
